Gösta Flemming, based in Sweden, is an editor, designer, publisher and journalist/writer. He founded the publishing house Journal in 1991 with the aim of publishing photo books.

In addition to the work with Journal, Gösta Flemming has also compiled and written text in the books “Andreas Feininger - Stockholm 1933-1939”, “Foto i bok” - an overview of photo books published in Sweden, “In Memory of Himself - Christer Strömholm in the eyes of his beholders” and “Centennium, photography in Sweden, part 1: 1985-1974". From 1988-1998 and 2003-2010 he was editor-in-chief of f / Fotografisk tidskrift, published by the Swedish Photographers' Association.
He is interested in a wide scope of themes, with a focus on photography in the context of photobooks.
