Linda Conze is Head of the Photography Collection at the Kunstpalast, Düsseldorf, where she recently curated an exhibition on the work of East German photographer Evelyn Richter. After studying history in Hamburg and Berlin, where she graduated with a thesis on the medium of the photo album, she completed her PhD at Humboldt University on photography as a medium of community between the Weimar Republic and National Socialism. From 2015 to 2017, she was a fellow of the Krupp Foundation in the program for museum curators in photography and worked in the photographic collections of the Museum Folkwang, the Kupferstich-Kabinett Dresden, the Stadtmuseum München, and the Getty Research Institute, Los Angeles.
The Jury
The submitted works were reviewed by the jury and selected for a group exhibition at the Photoszene Festival, which will take place from 12 May to 11 June 2023 in the rooms of the Michael Horbach Foundation.
