Fever Sea

FEVER SEA explores identity, intimacy, chosen family and self-determination a visual examination of the conditions that shape womanhood. The series questions normative gender roles and displays physicality as an expression of autonomy and connection. Connection and distance, desire and belonging are investigated in portraits and self-portraits. The intimacy between the persons portrayed created fields of tension that query existing conventions.
