Lost in colours

The aesthetics of impermanence can be seen in the works through scratches, weathering, dirt and fading. This is reminiscent of various works of abstract expressionism. Glittering surfaces in the sunlight, visual transformations in the rain and a completely new reflection in the snow. In his show LOST IN COLOURS, Philipp Treudt stages the hoods of cars like canvases, deliberately concealing the original identity of the objects.
