Taking a respectful approach and with a fond gaze at the natural situation in the midst and at the edge of events on the street, Anna E. Stärk has been taking people’s portraits for 50 years and thus documents current events on the one hand – and on the other her photos are characterized by a silent, empathic look at the usually unnoticed poetry of the everyday.
