Two photographers from different generations, who both document the art scene -- especially in the Rhine region: Bernd Jansen (1945) has been taking the portraits of artists such as Beuys or Bernd and Hilla Becher in their homes since the 1960s. Never Allgeir (1986) directs his focus onto the present-day and young art scene. The juxtaposition of their works offers an archival and sensitive insight in a world undergoing transformation.
