Feelings & Photography

Roxana Rio's work uses photographs, installative formats and performances to examine the body as a construct, material and representative within social orders/arrangements. Based on drag looks, the work ALIAS reflects on means of self-representation as fundamental techniques for constructing gender roles. THE BODY IS A PRACTICE reflects the discrepancy between trans bodies and their representation by AI. The presentations are part of the group exhibition FEELINGS & PHOTOGRAPHY.
