Since she left Poland in 2012, Joanna Szproch has been making a stand against the conservative expectations of her Catholic homeland and, in “Everyday Fantasy”, exhibits a photographic art object that exceeds the boundaries of photography. Her work resembles a visual ode to sexual autonomy and enables a celebration of female sensuality. Her work is a testament to more than one decade of creative exploration (2010–2023), which interweaves joy, fantasy and play in a complex interplay of past and present. The presentation is part of the group exhibition FEELINGS & PHOTOGRAPHY.
