The exhibition is the outcome of the course 'ausbelichten, drucken, angucken, beschreiben', which was held by Pio Rahner during the winter semester at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. At first sight, the photographs seem reduced. On a second look, a new focus arises. What was once seen is newly interpreted. New things come about. In the darkroom the prints offer space for creative decisions. Shape and texture, shadow and surface step to the fore here and there.
