On Sunday, May 21, you can combine a weekend walk through your own neighborhood with a few exhibition visits at the Photoszene Festival. We'll start at Simone Klein's showroom, where the curator will give us an exclusive tour of the "Shape" exhibition. Afterwards we will move on to a new exciting location in Cologne: the Westspitze, here we will see works that move in the spectrum between documentary and conceptual photography or video art. On our way between the individual spots, we will also repeatedly see posters on the theme of "Revolt", an exhibition in public space by the Professional Association of Freelance Photographers & Film Designers (BFF).
Coffee will be served along the way and there is no shortage of opportunities to extend the tour independently.
Guided by: Giulia Cramm studied photography, painting and art history in Osnabrück (B.A.) and photography history and theory with Herta Wolf in Cologne (M.A.). Currently she works curatorially, scientifically and in the border area of photo restoration in the photographic collection of the Ruhr Museum in Essen.
