On Saturday, May 20, you can combine a weekend stroll through your own neighborhood with a few exhibition visits at the Photoszene Festival. We start at the Fotoraum in Lindenthal, where the multiple award-winning series "vom plötzlichen Erwachsenwerden" can be seen, in which Tamara Eckhardt accompanied young mothers between 16 and 21 years. The tour then continues to the exhibition "no room to move" at the Laboratory for Art and Research on Dürener Straße. The tour ends at the Japanese Cultural Institute, where the photographers Thomas Bergner and Nakazato Katsuhito are fascinated by the magic of the night in a German-Japanese dialogue exhibition.
The individual exhibition locations can be reached on foot, but those who wish can of course also ride up on a bicycle. Coffee will be served along the way and there is no shortage of opportunities to extend the tour independently.
Guided by: Giulia Cramm studied photography, painting and art history in Osnabrück (B.A.) and photography history and theory with Herta Wolf in Cologne (M.A.). Currently she works curatorially, scientifically and in the border area of photo restoration in the photographic collection of the Ruhr Museum in Essen.
