How about a tour in the North of Cologne? We have prepared a route for you, you just pick out your raisins or make several stages on different days.
But be careful: Make sure that all exhibition venues are really open on the day you have chosen for your tour. You will find the opening hours at the bottom of the page.
No. 19 - You start at Galerie Anja Knoess (Große Brinkgasse 17), where Peter Braunholz is concerned with the continuous development of a gaze that penetrates the essence of spaces and objects and reveals their secret connections and interrelationships.
No. 26 - A 10-minute walk away, at Kaune Contemporary Gallery (Gereonskloster 12), Gregor Törzs' exhibition title "Perpetual" refers to motifs mostly taken from nature and their claim to be perpetual.
No. 76 - Only 5 minutes away you will find photographs by Christian Amouzou, Frank Baquet, Jennifer Braun, Przemek and Harald Schwertfeger at Wertheim Cologne (Hansaring 12).
No. 09 - Cross the pond in Mediapark and you will find yourself in the Photographische Sammlung/SK Stiftung Kultur (Im Mediapark 7), where a total of nine series of works by the American artist Lucinda Devlin are on display. After the first part of the exhibition you will have the opportunity for coffee and snacks or a short break in the August-Sander-Park.
No. 81 - Then continue to the exhibition "come home" (Gereonswall 27a, private apartment Steff Adams) is a non-commercial traveling exhibition in apartments and shows works that usually remain hidden as incidental by-products in the drawers of the artist:inside.
No. 67 - A good 5-minute walk away, Sigrid Ortwein is giving a talk at the N.N. Aquino (Aquinostr. 13), Sigrid Ortwein returns digital photography to the makers and trades it in for instant analog photography: the Polaroid.
No. 07 - From there, it's just a stone's throw to Ebertplatz, where the exhibition "The Loneliness one Dare not Sound" spans the exhibition spaces Gemeinde Köln, GOLD+BETON, Labor, Mouches Volantes, and with an outdoor installation, Ebertplatz itself.
No. 49 - As a last stop you can visit the CO3 cologne contemporary concept (Thürmchenswall 66 ) only a few minutes walk away, where the photographic documentation "Moosh bokhoratet" by Philipp Treudt gives insights into the complexity of Iran, whose ambiguity may lie in the eyes of the viewer:inside.
If you are hungry now, you will find numerous snack bars or restaurants around the Eigelstein. For the hardy, the tour continues north to the beautiful district of Nippes.
