Linn Schröder, born in Hamburg in 1977, studied art history, communication design and visual communication, has been a member of the Ostkreuz photo agency since 2006 and lives in Berlin. She is currently a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. In 2013, she was awarded the ZEITmagazin photography prize.
"Charlottenburg", 2013: What is the character of a city district and can you capture it? Her wanderings through Charlottenburg have produced images that metaphorically engage with a world of their own. Structural and aesthetic elements combine in a special colourfulness on the edge of black and white photography.
