Calin Kruse studied graphic design. He is the founder and maker of dienacht Magazin and dienacht Publishing, director of the Leipzig Photobook Festival and Thousandfold Photobook Fair and a photographer himself. Calin also works as a curator, gives guest lectures, offers mentoring and portfolio reviews and gives photo book workshops and master classes all over the world (among others Vienna, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Yerevan, Istanbul, Moscow, Metz, Lagos, Georgetown, Mexico City, Yangon).
He is particularly interested in photography in the context of photo books and personal photography.
