Philipp Goldbachs work shows a walk-on dance floor of 7680 art history slides, illuminated with an equal number of underlying LEDs in sync with music. A playlist gathers 29 pieces of music of different genres from the 1970s to current titles that refer to visual art in their lyrics – to specific artists, artworks & ‘art world’. Through music, language and a light animation composed for each song, the art history reproductions become a stage that invites for contemplation as well as for dancing.
